Hardwood

Hardwood floors add beauty, elegance, and a natural element to any home. They also add value to your home, as they are extremely popular in the resale home market. Maintained properly, wood flooring should never have to be replaced.

Hardwood traps fewer allergens including dust, pollen, and dust mites than other types of flooring, and is recommended by the American Lung Association to improve air quality.

Hardwood floors can last a lifetime and are always in style, making them cheaper in the long run because you don't have to reinstall. Advances in technology have led to them looking better, lasting longer, and being easier to care for than ever.

Laminate

Laminate flooring is quickly becoming the floor covering of choice, because it’s healthy, durable, and gives a luxury look at a cost effective price. It offers the appearance of hardwood floors or slate, but is significantly less costly!

Laminate flooring is an excellent choice, being healthy for your family and environmentally friendly. Extremely durable and scratch resistant, it will not fade even after years of exposure to direct sunlight.

Laminate flooring is also chemical resistant. The toughest stain can be safely removed with acetone without damaging the floor. It is also burn resistant, so you can install it in front of your fireplace with no worries! Even burning embers falling onto the floor will not leave any mark or discoloration.

Tile & Stone

Ceramic tile is commonly used for floors, showers, tubs, counters and offers a number of benefits. The material is made from clay, sand or glass and is environmentally friendly. Ceramic stays cool to the touch and can actually reduce that electric bill. The material is easy to keep clean and has a very hard surface.

Tile flooring also has other benefits. It is easy to maintain and is moisture, fire, and scratch resistant. Being hygienic and easy to clean, ceramic tiles are recommended for all areas where high sanitary standards are a must. The growth of allergens is greatly reduced, providing an overall improvement in air quality and ultimately the health of your family.

Nothing compares to the elegance of stone with its durability and natural beauty. When you combine the enormous range of colors and textures of stone with the many different cuts and edge treatments available, you have an almost unlimited number of designer options to choose from. Therefore, every stone floor is a unique work of craftsmanship. And, in warm and hot climates, nothing is better than stone.

Carpet & Rugs

Carpet offers many advantages that other flooring choices do not. Carpet is the ideal choice for bedrooms, family rooms and other areas where warmth underfoot is crucial. Carpet provides a non-slip surface to prevent accidents and a natural cushion in the event of a fall. This is especially important for young children and the elderly. Carpeting reduces noise better than any other flooring choice. In fact, carpet dampens noise in three ways: reducing surface noise from foot traffic, absorbing airborne sound and blocking transmission of sound between floors. These qualities are especially valuable in apartments and semi-detached homes.

Area rugs are a great way to personalize your home or office environment. They add color and artistic expression, whether you want it to be mild or wild! And, rugs certainly help to define the mood or character of a room. There's only so much you can do with walls, but there's almost no limit when it comes to using rugs as part of your decorating plans. We like to describe rugs as practical, functional art for the floor!

Luxury Vinyl Flooring

Luxury Vinyl Flooring is resilient flooring that closely mimics the look of natural materials--either wood or stone--by portraying realistic images and textures. It is this realism that distinguishes luxury vinyl from resilient vinyl flooring of the past, so expect to pay higher prices for this product.

Luxury Vinyl Flooring takes on either of two forms. Either it simulates stone (slate, travertine, marble, etc.) or it simulates wood (teak, maple, oak, walnut, and pine). Traditional vinyl flooring sometimes imitates natural materials and sometimes does not (solid color, patterned, etc.).

Another thing that distinguishes Luxury Vinyl Flooring (LVF) from other types of vinyl floor is the shape of individual pieces. Traditional sheet vinyl flooring comes in room-widths and -lengths to minimize or even eliminate seams. Normal vinyl tiles are usually square: 12"x12" or 16"x16" most often. Because LVF often imitates solid wood flooring, it comes in plank shapes. In this respect, LVF and laminate flooring are the same. Sizes vary, but the general idea is long and narrow. A typical size is 7" wide by 48" long.0
